Axis Technology is owned by Lumenware, LLC. This privately held software company was founded in 2000 by three professors in the Computer Science Department at the the University of Kentucky. The company’s headquarters are located in the Advanced Science and Technology Commercialization Center (ASTeCC) on the campus of the University.
As a startup company, Axis Technology has has been awarded over a million dollars in grant funding from the National Science Foundation and the State of Kentucky to develop Separable User Interface Technology (SUITe).
